Low-token build flow (manual relay)¶
You copy-paste. ChatGPT builds. Claude checks. Nothing else.
1. YOU paste the next order (below) into the ChatGPT app
2. CHATGPT builds, writes WO-NN-REPORT.md, replies "DONE WO-NN"
3. YOU tell Claude one line: "DONE WO-NN"
4. CLAUDE runs the check (one command), replies PASS or FAIL in a few lines
5. PASS → go to the next order. FAIL → paste Claude's fix note into ChatGPT, back to step 2
Token savers
Say only
DONE WO-NN. Don’t paste ChatGPT’s report; Claude reads the file itself.Claude replies with a short PASS/FAIL table, not a full review (the full review is Sunday).
One work order per round. Don’t start the next one until Claude says PASS.
The orders (paste one at a time)¶
Every order ends with the same rules, so they’re written once here and the orders refer to them:
RULES: Follow WORK-ORDERS.md “Start here” and the 8-step workflow. Branch from the previous PASS branch. Don’t edit other work orders’ files in
e46/golden/. Don’t install, push or merge; ask me first. Any unclear rule, spec gap or limitation you discover: write it into DECISIONS-NEEDED.md (Open) and into your report, never only in chat. Stop after step 7 and reply only: DONE WO-NN, or BLOCKED WO-NN if DECISIONS-NEEDED.md has an open item from you.

What Claude checks after each DONE (for reference)¶
DECISIONS-NEEDED.md + report → read every Open item and every "decisions to review" / limitation line FIRST
git log + diff of the branch → only that WO's files changed; no other golden file edited
cmake --preset release && build → no warnings (warnings are errors)
ctest --preset release → all tests pass
ctest --preset sanitize → all tests pass under ASan/UBSan
surprise exam → fresh random inputs, unrecorded seed, C++ vs Python reference
Later: switching to Codex CLI¶
When you want zero copy-pasting, follow the Codex CLI steps Claude gave on 7 Oct 2026 (install with brew install --cask codex, sign in, test). Claude then sends the same orders itself with codex exec.
